On the second Tuesday of each month, Boscobel opens its grounds to artists who can paint and draw undisturbed. Admission is free, please make reservations in advance.
Groups can arrange for a catered lunch to be served on the front lawn with a view of the river. In case of bad weather, the Thompson Room in the Reception Center is available.
Individuals and groups bringing their own picnic may use the tables in the designated areas.
Public restrooms are located in the Reception Center.
The shop features a wide variety of gifts and books on the Hudson Valley, history, gardening, and the decorative arts.
During two summer months, Boscobel is home to the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival which presents two plays each season under a tent on the lawn above the sweeping vista of Constitution Marsh and the Hudson Highlands.
Opened to the public in 1987, this chipped trail is approximately one mile in length. Enjoy the tranquility of the forest and the breathtaking views of Constitution Marsh.
Follow this path from the Reception Center through the apple orchard to the Orangerie, the Rose Garden, the House and spectacular vistas.
