The Doansburg Chamber Ensamble will close its 1999 season of regularl
regularly scheduled performances with its Jazz Quintet.
The program will be presented on Friday, November 26th at 8pm at
Trinity Church in Brewster, New York, and on Saturday, November 27th at
8pm at St. Mary's in the Highland's Episcopal Church in Cold Spring,
New York. The quintet will include flutist Christine Smith, guitarist S
eth Himmelhoch, pianist Tom McCoy, drummer Joe Carozza, and Tom Charlap
on the bass. The ensemble will perform selections from Claude Bolling's
jazz sujires, in addition to a number of well-known jazz favorites. Fe
Featured works will be original compositions by the performing artists.
Tickets for the concert are available at the door at $9 for
geeral admission and $8 for seniors and students.
