3rd Annual "The Great Hudson River Paddle"
Cold Spring Stopover July 8, 2003
Open Space Institute was pleased to hoast
this 3rd annual "The Great Hudson River Paddle"
Located at North Gate at Cold Spring-on-Hudson,
the site of the former Northgate Restaurant (aka Dockside),
and the Cold Spring Brickyard of many years ago.
The Great Hudson River Paddle is sponsored by an affiliation of
organizations with a common interest having an interest along the
Hudson River. Speakers and displays were at the Cold Spring
Bandstand along with music.
Sponsors include Open Space Institute, Scenic Hudson,
Hudson River Greenway, Hudson River Watertrail Assoc,
Hudson Valley Outfitters,
Hudson Highlands Land Trust, the Bannerman Castle
Trust, Building Bridges, Building Boats, Putnam Riverfront Alliance,
and others.
Several bands gave the entertainment starting around 6:30pm.
Uncle Wade's Blues music began the evening entartainment.
Mother Load from the local
area performed for the second annual event.
