The Town Board of the Town of Philipstown held their regular weekly meeting at 8:00 p.m. on April 18, 2001 at the Town Hall, 238 Main Street, Cold Spring, New York.

RESOLUTION #83-01
The following resolution was presented by Councilman Hosmer, seconded by Councilman Merante:
RESOLVED, that Town Board accepts the EAF on the proposed zoning change at the Stadium Restaurant as presented, authorizes the Supervisor to sign and adopts a negative declaration.

The following resolution was presented by Councilman Merante, seconded by Councilwoman Budney:
RESOLVED, that the Town of Philipstown Local Law #3 of the year 2001, a local law amending the Zoning Law of the Town of Philipstown as set forth below is hereby adopted:
Section 1.
That the "Zoning Map of the Town of Philipstown, New York" dated May 21, 1968, as adopted by the Philipstown Town Board on May 21, 1968, pursuant to Paragraph 22.1 of Section 22 of the Zoning Law of the Town of Philipstown, and as subsequently amended effective May 22, 1969, November 10, 1971, November 10, 1975, April 3, 1980, August 4, 1988, June 2, 1994, May 6, 1996, August 21, 1966, and October 21, 1988 be amended as follows:
That the existing Zoning District Classifications of "Business B-2 District" and "Residence R-80 District" be changed to "Business B-2 District" for the following described property which is located on the Easterly side of U.S. Route 9:
ALL that certain parcel of land situate in the Town of Philipstown, County of Putnam and State of New York that is bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at the on the easterly line of U.S. Route 9 (State Highway 5147), where it is met by the line dividing lands now or formerly of Doneraile Ballyhooly, L.L.C., on the northwest, from Parcel D shown on that certain "Amended Map of Open Development AreaÖof Charles J. MillerÖ," which was filed in the Putnam County Clerkís office on September 14, 1981 as Map No. 1715A, on the southeast.
THENCE from said point of beginning northerly along the easterly line of U.S. Route 9, the following courses:
N 47 18í17" W 16.80 feet
N 51 57í17" W 14260 feet and
N 44 05í07" W 161.88 feet
To a point at the line of lands now or formerly of Jung. Thence along the said Jung lands, the following courses:

To the easterly line of U.S. Route 9 and the point or place of beginning, containing 1.357 acres, more or less.
The aforesaid premises is designated on the Tax Maps of the Town of Philipstown as TM 82.-2-43.1

Councilman Merante provided the Board with copies of the Conservation Advisory Councilís Mission Statement. Supervisor Mazzuca thought that the document was some what general and needed more detail.
Councilman Merante said that Tom Monroe had sent the Board a memo regarding the website he had set up for the Town. Councilman Merante asked the Board to think about how they wanted to proceed with this. Mr. Monroe indicated that although he had set up the web site, he did not have the time to keep it updated.
Councilman Engelbride made a motion, seconded by Councilwoman Budney and unanimously passed to close the meeting at 8:40 p.m.
