Established in 1933 by Donato Yannitelli, the original shop was located on Main Street in the village of Cold Spring.
In the 1960's, the business passed to Donato's son Al, who moved the store to its current location on Chestnut Street (Route 9D).
When Al went on vacation in 1993, Don Yannitelli III, a knowledgeable enophile, redesigned and converted the shop to cater to fellow wine enthusiasts.
Yannitelli's offers an international selection of wines from the unusual to the collectible, and the "big name". There are over 500 wines in stock.
