Thomas W. G. Robertson a 30 year resident of Cold Spring
has determined to run for Town Council as a member of the
Republican TEAM PHILIPSTOWN slate.
Robertson has an outstanding career in the Insurance
industry, where he is President of Kerwick and Curran of
New Jersey, a major factor in Underwriting Management.
Robertson's wide business experience has made important
contributions to Philipstown activities where he served
5 years as Vice President of the Haldane School Board .
He is also a member of the Nelsonville Fish and Fur Club
and the Garrison Fish and Game Club and is currently
Commodore of the Cold Spring Boat Club.
"These and many other activit[es have familiarized me
with many of the problems that confront Philipstown,"
said Robertson. "Any company that regularly delayed
decision-making as we have would be in serious trouble.
The sorry almost 6-year history of the Philipstown
Master/Comprehensive Plan is a real example of inaction
in action. My extensive business experience will make
a major contribution to solving problems iike this."
Robertson's involvement with the Putnam County Historical
Society has made him aware of the environmental
heritage of our area and the need to preserve it.
One of Robertson's major concerns is the quality of
life of our senior citizens. "I believe we must plan
and act better to insure their future. As a proud
member of TEAM PHILIIPSTOWN I am confident that new
management can bring positive results for all our
citizens."
