Nightshades, vegetables that flower and bloom only at night,
are Toxic. They are:
TOMATOES
Watch out for red sauces such as
italian type, mexican sauces and salsa.
POTATOES
Stop all prepared white potatoes
such as french fries, baked, mashed, canned, and prepared TV dinners.
You must also avoid all PROCESSED FOODS which contain abundant
POTATOE STARCH used for thickeners such as gravys and sauces.
EGGPLANT
ALL PEPPERS
Years ago the widely syndicated newspaper and radio columnist
Carlton Fedricks constantly repeated to his listeners the claim that
95% of all Rheumatoid Arthritis could be cured by the elimination of
the nightshades, at least long enough to purge the body of the
toxins which had accumulated in the joints. I personally had the
experience and can attest to the truth of his teachings.

F. Balch, M.D. and Phyllis A. Balch, C.N.C. ...
<>"Avoid the nightshade vegetables (peppers, eggplant, tomatoes, white
potatoes). These foods contain a substance called solanine, to which
some people, particularly those suffering from arthritis, are highly
sensitive. Solanine interferes with enzymes in the muscles, and may
cause pain and discomfort."
