Entering the Park, you cross over the bridge that gives excellent views of the Metro North train tracks, as shown in the photo looking north to Breakneck Mountain.

Follow the trail to the sandy beach and enjoy the view to the northern gate of the Hudson Highlands with Bannerman's Island in the distance.

Stay on the trail as it circumnavigates the point. Good view points for West Point and the village of Cold Spring to the south.

Pass the old quarry and the cave. The trail returns to the entrance of the park.
